Bioteka selected for the 3M Impact Program as one of the few organizations globally!

The year 2024 marked continued international collaboration and expansion for Bioteka. With the support of multinational company 3M and the organizational backing of PYXERA Global from the USA, we developed new and improved existing Bioteka models to maximize our impact and reach. It was an honor to host a team of consultants from the USA and India, specialized in business development, new service design, customer experience, communication, and strategic growth.

At the beginning of 2024, our organization was selected to participate in the prestigious 3M Impact Program, an international initiative that helps leading nonprofit organizations worldwide enhance their work within local communities. The 3M Impact Program is a global pro bono project leveraging the skills of 3M employees to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, the program focuses on environmental sustainability, education, and workforce development. It creates a threefold benefit: leadership and intercultural skills development for 3M employees, training and growth opportunities for host organizations, and increased knowledge and improved reputation for 3M.

3M experts Nathan Hoyt, Miresh Desai, Maryann Thomas, and Jing Zhang spent 14 intensive days with us, enhancing our services and overall business operations. We had the privilege of engaging in valuable and creative discussions and consultations on business model improvement, sales strategies, strategic and operational development, communication, and customer experience—all in a warm atmosphere filled with creativity and laughter.

Business Development

The program focused on strengthening Bioteka’s business operations through various activities and workshops. Pyxera Global provided technical and logistical support for organizing the event, and preliminary meetings were held to gain a deep understanding of Bioteka’s organization, services, and business model. Strengths, weaknesses, gaps, and key challenges were identified.

Several tools were developed, including a business model for products and services, content analysis and calendar, marketing tools review, and a proposed marketing plan, along with a series of external communication training sessions.

The expert visit took place from June 3 to June 14, 2024, and we immediately began implementation, applying the acquired knowledge, skills, and tools in our daily operations.
