We have completed the “What surrounds me?” project!
As part of the project “What surrounds me?”, Bioteka Association conducted outdoor workshops for seventh-grade students of 2nd Elementary School Čakovec.
During the workshops, students carried out their own small-scale research in the schoolyard. Using various scientific research tools, they analyzed their results to determine which plant and animal species live in specific environments based on different environmental conditions.
They also examined water samples from various streams and lakes, concluding that the organisms living in these waters can indicate whether the water is clean or polluted.
Through this project, we encouraged students to explore and better understand the nature and environment that surround them daily, as well as the importance of preserving nature and protecting living organisms.
This project was co-financed by the City of Čakovec budget funds.
